Groundhog Day 2024

The annual tradition celebrated on February 2nd in the United States and Canada: According to folklore, if a groundhog emerges from its burrow on this day and sees its shadow, it will retreat back inside and winter will last for six more weeks. If it doesn't see its shadow, spring will arrive early. While this tradition is often lighthearted and fun, it has no basis in scientific fact.
