THE PRECIOUSNESS OF DEEP FRIENDSHIPS

Proverbs 27:17 New King James Version
17 As iron sharpens iron,
So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY FRIENDS!!!
I really loved this morning's passage of scripture, because this was an open expression on the part of David, that I wish I could express. I want to be more open, receptive, and friendly as Proverbs 18:24 states, but I'll admit it's really hard. I wonder if I could be so verbal and so eloquent like David was in this eulogy that he gave to both Saul and Jonathan, and all I can do is ask God to help me be that way. I think that's why the questions from this morning's devotional are so challenging to me, and I’d like to share them with you tonight. Please read these questions carefully, and I pray that god will challenge your heart through them too.

How do you think faith in Christ can deepen friendship?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me from this morning's passage of scripture, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you will encourage you to want to pursue true, deep, genuine friendships with others. Especially friendships that are founded in Christ. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends, and learn the preciousness of true deep friendships! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and i pray that it will get you to thinking about the relationships that you do have, and how you can make them better.

How could you show more affection, loyalty, or commitment to your friends?

My prayer for all of you tonight, is that you choose to trust God in how you make your friendships, but also trust Him to develop those friendships. Ask God if you don't have it already, to give you a true and deep friend, someone like Barnabas who is an encourager, someone who gives wise, sound, advice like Solomon, but also someone who was loyal, compassionate, loving, and more like Jonathan. Remember that true friends can't be rented or bought, so you want to make sure that you truly invest the time that is needed to form those friendships. After all as Proverbs 18:24 states so very well, “A man that hath friends must show himself friendly, and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.” Choose to be a real friend to someone today!
