Hike #5: Lookout Mountain, Santa Rosa Mountains (San Bernardino NF), Anza, CA

Hiking Lookout Mountain: Santa Rosa Mountains (San Bernardino National Forest), CA.

When hiking the PCT, there are usually visitors heading to popular destinations. In this case, anything popular is to the north and into the higher San Jacinto Mountains. By choosing to go south instead, I pretty much had the trail to myself. I certainly had the Lookout Mountain section to myself. The mountain skirts the edge of the Santa Rosa Reservation, so a roundabout way of getting to the mountain is necessary via the PCT. Fortunately, I took care of business again!
