Joe Biden Falsely Claims He’s Done All He Can to Secure the Border

Joe Biden’s up to his eyeballs in political trouble thanks to his disastrous decision to open the southern border.

Now Biden’s looking for an escape hatch.

And Joe Biden made this damning confession about the border crisis that will make your blood boil.

December saw a record 302,000 illegal aliens cross the southern border.

That’s more than the population of Pittsburgh entering the country.

It’s a humanitarian crisis.

It’s a national security crisis.

But it’s also a political crisis as Donald Trump wants to cast the 2024 election as a referendum on Joe Biden’s failed term in office highlighted by the chaos at the southern border.

Trump’s plan is working as evidenced by the fact that Trump leads Biden by 3.9 points in the Real Clear Politics polling average.

Biden felt the pressure to look like he cares about the border – even if, in reality, he wanted to keep it open – and RINOs like Mitch McConnell understood that to secure more funding for their disastrous war in Ukraine they needed political cover in the form of a border bill.

That led to McConnell and his fellow RINOs surrendering to Joe Biden in a deal that saw Republicans write into law the ability of Biden to accept 1,825,000 illegal aliens per year.

Biden shouted at reporters that he needed legislation to shut down the border by falsely claiming he exhausted his executive authority.

House Speaker Mike Johnson called out these lies detailing the exact executive orders Biden could sign in order to provide real border security.

Johnson wrote:

President Biden said “I’ve done all I can do” with executive authority to secure the border. That is simply untrue. He’s either lying or misinformed.

Here are just a few of the authorities at his disposal – if only he would use them:

Donald Trump also chimed in to note that he created the most secure border in history through the “Remain in Mexico” protocols and declaring a national emergency which unlocked the funding to build a border wall.

“I didn’t need a big, complex Democrat-oriented Border Bill, which will make Republicans look bad, I just closed the Border, and had, by far, the Safest Border in the History of our Country!” Trump posted on Truth Social.

Open borders are a choice.

Biden’s saying he’s done all he can is accurate in that Biden wants an open border and ran through the gamut of 94 executive orders he could sign to make that possible.

But what the executive makes through an order he can unmake.

And Joe Biden doesn’t want to unmake executive orders.
