Pinellas County Animal Services is sharing a disturbing story to warn pet owners of the dangers of using human hair dye on pets.

It is strongly advised for the owner to do careful research on the product before applying it. And even then, apply the dye to a very small part of the pets body so to see if the dye is compatible with its skin a fur. Only then should it be okay to proceed with applying it on the desired areas.
