We often react to terrible news clips, but this one is different. We get to sit back and enjoy watching another journalist rip apart a mainstream media outlet. This viral clip shows British journalist and filmmaker Myriam François pushing back on Sky News presenter Yalda Hakim, illuminating why the Houthi rebel group has blocked a key shipping route.

François was responding to a question on whether the Biden administration should have acted sooner against Yemen's Houthi rebels—officially known as Ansar Allah—who have been launching attacks against Israel-linked ships. The Houthis have said they will stop once a ceasefire is in place in the Gaza Strip and humanitarian aid is delivered to Gazans.

François' response seemed to have caught the news anchor off-guard. We love her factual, articulate analysis against the unconscionable defence of Israeli atrocities in Gaza, where 27,000 civilians have been killed since 7 October.
