A centuries-old mosque silently razed to the ground

Amidst global discourse on recent Hindu temple inaugurations and the biased survey of the Archaeological Survey of India, an 800-year-old Masjid Akhonji, in Delhi, was secretly demolished by the Delhi Development Authority. Imam Zakir Hussain alleged forceful actions and the vandalization of a Madrasa and destroying Quran and Madrasa books and food of the students. The International Council of Indian Muslims (ICIM) revealed that over 300+ mosques have been demolished since 1992, with 36,000 listed in the Hindutva-driven Reclaim Temples campaign.
