This is around the time I met Dorian, we formed the Swigs a year later in 1987. Dorian was a front man with incredible charisma, wit, and intelligence, which can be seen in spades in Chris's video. But Dorian's lyrics remain less known. We wrote fewer than 10 songs together, but each song has Dorian's unique take on things. "When Your Hour Comes Down" is his take on life and death. I put the tune and these images up to celebrate our songwriting partnership, our friendship, and Dorian himself. R.I.P. my dear friend, you are remembered, cherished, and missed. --K
