Hey there, it's Maikel back with another video that's going to change the way you look at your habits. This time, we're diving into the world of habit building and why most people utterly suck at it.

Ever tried to start a new habit and found yourself giving up after a few days?

You're not alone.

Most people make the mistake of setting huge, overwhelming goals for themselves: "I haven't worked out in 7 years... Let's go for 2 hours a day!" or "Maybe I should start reading. Let's read 40 pages a day!"

If you're like that, quit that immediately!

Setting such big daily goals as your habits is like creating your own personal Mount Everest. It's daunting, it's overwhelming, and it's a surefire way to set yourself up for failure. You're doomed to fail and give up, virtually guaranteed!

Here's what to do instead:

In this video, I talk about the importance of setting bare minimum goals. Just set foot in the gym. Just open the book. The idea is that once you have started, it becomes a lot easier to keep on going. I call this Newton's Third Law applied to people.

I share strategies on how to make your habits tiny so that there are no excuses possible. The smaller the habit, the easier it is to stick to it. And the easier it is to stick to a habit, the more likely you are to succeed.

So, if you're ready to overcome your habit-building hurdles, this video is for you. And remember, it's not about working harder, it's about working smarter. 😉
