The Surprising Way Your EYES Can Help You Build Habits that Stick!

Hey there, it's Maikel back with another video that's going to change the way you look at your habits. This time, we're diving into the world of cues and how they can make or break your productivity.

Go-Go Gadget x-ray eyes! 🕵️‍♂️

Ever found yourself in a store, not feeling hungry at all, but the moment you lay your eyes on those ice cream tubs or bags of chips, you suddenly feel a craving? That's your eyes playing tricks on you, creating cravings out of thin air.

In a way, your eyes create your habits.

In this video, I talk about the importance of having cues and how they can either lead you to success or down a rabbit hole of procrastination. Visual cues can make your habits stick better than a cat to the box of your new TV.

I share strategies on how to make sure the cues for bad habits are hidden or not present and how to add visual (and other) cues into our environment. Post-it notes with a message, reminders in your phone, you name it. Get those creative juices flowing to add visual cues to your life to build better habits..

But that's not all. The second part of this video is all about making good habits easier. I mean, who wouldn't want that? I share tips on how to make bad habits harder to actually do and good habits easier to pull off. For example, having gym clothes laying in the chair you usually sit in, both visible and easier to get than if they're in the attic.

The more friction you can remove from your desired habits, the better!

So, if you're ready to overcome procrastination, build good habits, and make your life a whole lot easier, this video is for you. And remember, it's not about working harder, it's about working smarter. 😉
