CBC CEO Catherine Tait says, “It’s extremely difficult not to have the love and support for the work that we do; however, we continue to do it because we believe that serving Canadians is worth it. It is a pillar of our democracy, and everything that we do is to combat disinformation.”
Yesterday, Tait addressed a parliamentary committee, explaining the rationale behind the financially struggling broadcaster's distribution of $16 million in executive bonuses.
