WHAT IT MEANS TO BE FULLY SURRENDERED TO CHRIST

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA GANG!!!

What does it mean to truly surrender yourself to Christ? That is a question I'm asking myself even now, because I'm still trying to figure out what it means. I've been saved since I was 5 1/2, and I'm still learning every day just what it means to truly follow and be surrendered to Christ. I'm slowly learning that it's not according to the IFB way, not according to the particular way of a pastor/preacher, or some supposed “man of God”, but what it truly means to surrender it all to Christ Jesus and follow only Him.

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me from his word on this matter, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you will challenge and encourage you to see how important it is to allow God to be first place in your life. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with these questions from this morning's devotional, and I pray that you will think about them, and allow God to challenge your heart through them.

What do you need to surrender in order to truly follow Jesus?

What are some personal ambitions you may be holding on to?

Finally, my friends, I want to ask this. What about you? Are you being called to surrender some part of your life to God? Most of all, do you know what it really means to surrender yourself to God? Is there an area of your life, that you're holding back from God, you need to give that to Him? Whatever personal ambition, whatever you've been taught submission entails, whoever may have taught you their definition of submission, set it all aside, and ask God to show you what it truly means to surrender your heart and everything to Him and Him alone. Surrender does not involve listening to the tenants of a denomination, or any one particular person, but careful reading, and discernment of the scriptures on your own. Don't be someone who's a mind was follower deceived to find somebody's version of submitting to God, especially when it's not according to what scripture states. Above all, don't let your pride or ego get in the way of being willing to submit yourself to God, because the only way we could have God's Holy Spirit working through us is when we truly fully surrender to Him.
