Original Abstract Art Scripture Painting

I have been a full-time professional artist since 2003. I have been infusing my abstract art paintings with scripture from the Bible and with crosses almost since the beginning of my art career. My abstract paintings, adorned with scripture from the Bible, evoke polarized reactions, being both the most warmly embraced and vehemently criticized in my collection. Surprisingly, these pieces consistently attract a higher volume of negative emails than any other works, leaving me perplexed at the profound impact mere words can have on stirring such intense emotions within people.

Even for those who may not identify as Christian, the words of scripture have the capacity to offer strength and serenity, providing a source of solace and inspiration transcending religious boundaries.

The text in this work is from the scripture Psalm 37:1-4 and reads: Do not be provoked by evildoers; do not envy those who do wrong. Like grass they wither quickly; like green plants they wilt away. Trust in the LORD and do good that you may dwell in the land and live secure. Find your delight in the LORD who will give you your heart's desire.
