The Mystery Of Mr. Wong (1939) Crime Mystery Full Movie

The Mystery of Mr. Wong is a 1939 American crime mystery movie directed by William Nigh. Starring Boris Karloff, Grant Withers, Dorothy Tree.

Boris Karloff headlines the second installment of the Mr. Wong series, where affluent gem-collector Brandon Edwards acquires the world's largest star sapphire, the 'Eye of the Daughter of the Moon,' following its theft in China. At a soirée in his residence, Edwards shares with Mr. Wong his fear for his life. In a perplexing turn of events during a Charades game, Edwards is fatally shot, and the precious gem vanishes. Unbeknownst to Wong, the jewel is now in the possession of Edwards' maid, Drina, who aims to repatriate it to China. Tragically, Drina is also murdered, and the gem is once again stolen. As the list of suspects diminishes with each murder, Wong successfully reveals the killer, hands them over to Police Inspector Street, and departs to ensure the safe return of the gem to China.
