Raja Janak, also known as King Janaka, was a legendary figure in Hindu mythology. He is best known as the father of Sita, the wife of Lord Rama in the epic Ramayana. Raja Janak was the ruler of the kingdom of Videha, and he is revered for his wisdom and righteousness. According to the Ramayana, he played a significant role in the marriage of Sita and Lord Rama and was highly respected as a saintly king.
