Chita Rivera won Tonys for “The Rink” and “Kiss of the Spider Woman”. She also won a Tony Lifetime Achievement Award and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom. The Associated Press reports that Rivera’s daughter says she died in New York after a brief illness.
