We have been hit with a lot of fake news today. The headlines scream that the Catholic Church must now bless "gay marriage!" That is not true. Chistina Sorrentino has written an excellent article about what Fiducia Supplicans really means. Today, we discuss this and then we turn to Fr. Spirago who explains, " God is almighty, i.e., God can do all that He wills, and that by a mere act of His will." I also rant a lot about the need for Catholic officials and writers to learn to write more plainly so that we are not so often confused by their statements.
