The Fulfillment of Our Vision

To fulfill God’s vision for our lives it takes good organization, discipline, endurance, faith, patience and discernment. It takes a positive mindset and total reliance on the integrity of God’s word. Our future is in God’s uncompromised Word. We also need to hear a specific word from God regarding our desires and hopes and dreams. God speaks to us in various ways as recorded in His Word. The reason He does this is for us to know His will for our lives. He appeared to Joseph, Mary’s fiance in a dream in the New Testament several times, and He appeared to Joseph, Isaac’s son in the Old Testament, not once but twice. God even gave a pagan, King Nebuchadnezzar a vision in the book of Daniel. God sends His angels also to proclaim His will over many people in the scriptures both Old and New Testaments. God gave Abraham a vision of his future when it was quite biologically for both he and Sarah to have a child, because of their advanced age. God told him to use his imagination and picture his offspring like the dust of the earth, the stars in the skies and the sand on the seashore. God told Abraham his descendants will conquer the cities of their enemies. See Genesis 22 :17. God gave us our imagination to create what He places in our hearts, desires, dreams and visions. Our imagination was meant to be used for God’s purposes not for evil or for our own wishes and desires not congruent to His. So let us imagine the best of God for ourselves this year and create what God Himself has placed upon our hearts. With God nothing is impossible. Remember, Jesus has already done it all for us, all we need to do is to appropriate it by saying out loud in faith in Christ and we shall have it.
