Setting Kohler K4402AS/K3402AS Timing

This video is how to set the timing on a Kohler K4402AS or K3402AS as installed in a Mercury Trail-Twister. I misspeak in the video the K4402AS timing is .095” BTDC, and the K3402AS is .080” BTDC. I also misspeak and call it 95 degrees which is easy to do most of the time talking about timing your talking in degrees of rotation, but here I am talking about .095” which is the reading BTDC of the piston (Before Top Dead Center). At the end of this video are three pages from my Mercury repair manual, the first is of this How to set the timing video, The second is how to check the timing with a timing light, and the third is the specifications for setting the timing and other information as well.
