"Damn FORMATION was confirmed about an hour after the hunters went out hunting. At first, a pod seemed to be large, but it was soon split into 2 groups, and the larger one escaped safely.
By splitting up the pod as they drive in, hunters are able to establish the excuse that they have not killed the whole pod. It’s about the genetic diversity.
The remaining group was further split once, and then combined into one and driven into the Cove. It was probably the pod of less than 10* Striped dolphins.
For more than 3 hours they had been diving so deep and long that they were barely visible and tried tto escape several times. But by the time they approached the Cove, they seemed too exhausted to move much. It seems that there were also individuals who seemed to be floating.
All of them were killed to be made into mercury meat with almost no demand.
*From the number of ropes connected to the skiff heading to slaughterhouse, the pod may have been 6-7. It’s difficult to know the exact number though."
