US is part of the problem, not the solution – Michael Maloof

It’s been revealed that US forces apparently failed to intercept the deadly attack on its illegally-stationed base in Syria due to an identification mix-up. The militant drone reportedly approached the base at the same time as an American one was returning, causing confusion over whether the second UAV was friendly or not.

We discussed the latest with Michael Maloof, a former senior Pentagon analyst. He says Washington is only creating more turmoil instead of bringing solutions to the Middle East.
