Monica created the award winning documentary the 13th step, to educate the people of the serious dangers that occur in the meetings of Alcoholics Anonymous. Anything goes in AA, from rape, murder, stalking, harassment and even members diagnosing people with an 'incurable, fatal, and progressive lifelong disease' without a medical license!!!
Most people believe that AA is a good place where people stop drinking, 'recover' and get well. However, you cannot recover from a disease that doesn't exist! This ideology is extremely dangerous!
There are many healthy alternatives to stop or even moderate substance use without having to submit yourself to meetings for the rest of your life, and believing that you are powerless.
