North America Deer Slam - Mexican Gulf Coast Whitetail | Mark V. Peterson Hunting

Mark Peterson is south of the border in Veracruz, Mexico chasing the Mexican Gulf Coast Whitetail. This subspecies has the smallest range of the 31 species in the deer slam. Mark is facing some grueling temps, bugs, and very low deer density. With the trip winding down, Mark and the guide decided to head back to the previous location where they had been seeing the most signs of deer. With only minutes left of shooting light, Mark’s target buck stepped out of the thicket.
