Republican Lawmakers Announce Solution to Arizona's Housing Crisis
PHOENIX, ARIZONA— Members of the media are invited to join Senate and House Republicans at a press
conference Monday for an important announcement highlighting a plan to help bring down costs for
hardworking Arizona families and young adults attempting to live out their American dream through
homeownership.
Since 2020, Arizona's median home sale price has skyrocketed more than 50% and currently sits at a whopping
$430,000. This is preventing many of our citizens, including teachers, police officers, firefighters, and other
essential workers, from being able to afford a home within the communities they're serving.
Several Arizona residents impacted will join our lawmakers including a small business owner, military Veteran,
and single mom, as well as members of the real estate industry.
Speakers will take relevant questions at the conclusion of their remarks.
