Triple-A Michigan says the statewide average for gas is two-dollars-96-cents a gallon, a six-cent drop from last week and 51-cents lower than last year. A 15-gallon fill up costs 44-dollars on average, down around 14-dollars from the peak price last year in August. The state's most expensive gas is in Jackson at three-dollars-two-cents, while Marquette and Grand Rapids have the lowest price at two-88.
