Although listed as Night Lights in fact these compact sized motion sensor stick-on lights from ZVM could be used anywhere you need a small but powerful immediate light source with no trailing wires in the way.

In the box were the two lights together with a pair of USB-C charging cables, two sticky backed metal mounting plates and a user guide. Build quality throughout is light in weight but decent quality with nothing looking likely to fail any time soon.

The lights have magnetic plates on the rear which allows them to be mounted directly to any suitable magnetic surface. To mount in other locations a pair of sticky backed metal plates are included, simply stick them to the wall, door, or other desired area and the lamp will magnetically attach there. Once in place the lights can be slid around to reposition and will remain in place although the magnets are not very strong. Annoyingly, there are no rear slots, so screw mounting is not an option.

Using the lights could not be simpler. Set the side panel turret switch to select warm or cool white, with the central position turning the light off. As you approach the lights they will illuminate for around 20 seconds before turning off. The lights have a built-in light sensor and will only turn on when the ambient light level is low.

The lights have an internal 500mAh Lithium Polymer battery which can be recharged from any available USB port and two rather short cables are provided for this. One charge should give you several weeks of normal use.

The Amazon pre discount price of £23.75 will get you a pair of lightweight, well-made lights, versatile in use and simple to operate. Not the cheapest out there, but they are well made, look good, and get the job done.
