Promises left unkept, goals unrealized, a dying fad.

The early promises of the electric car have never been met, not even in part. Indeed the pitfalls of owning electric vehicles are many and varied. In fact, owning an electric vehicle teaches you to plan your drives carefully, recharge daily, take the bus if you’re going over 30 or 40 miles away [10 or 20 in Winter] whenever you get a chance, and cancel your ‘kids’ college funds so you can afford to replace the battery when it dies.
