Beretta BRX1 Straight Pull Rifle in the USA in 2024 - SHOT Show 2024

Beretta USA has made an announcement that will make many in the US market very happy: the company is bringing the European Beretta BRX1 rifle to the US. This hunting and precision rifle is their take on a modern repeating rifle.

Constructed from stainless steel, the BRX1 has plenty of features to customize the rifle for any shooter. The threaded cold hammer-forged steel barrel and chamber are created from one piece of steel. Furthermore, the rifle is caliber interchangeable and, thanks to special bedding geometry, barrel reassembly is repeatable and consistent. For now, available calibers include .30-06, .300 Win Mag, .308 Win, and 6.5 Creedmoor. More caliber options are coming over the next year or so.

The BRX1 is a straight-pull bolt action rifle with a linear reloading system. This makes follow-up shots both fast and efficient. Furthermore, the bolt is easily swapped from left to right-hand function, or vice versa, in as little as 30 seconds. BRX1 ergonomics also include adjustable length of pull, a reversible bolt handle, and an adjustable trigger. According to Beretta, the entire trigger group is interchangeable too.

The BRX1 features a polymer stock with a negative comb, forend, and adjustable length of pull. This means the rifle is comfortable and a breeze to hold securely. The rifle also entered NATO testing to ensure it was safe and solid for users. The BRX1 utilizes an eight locking lug rotating bolt head. The safety mechanism has three positions: fire, locked trigger with free bolt, and locked trigger and bolt. The BRX1 rifle’s final features include two sling swivel stock attachment points, an integrated 1913 Picatinny optics rail, and five-round magazine capacity.

Beretta fans should be happy to hear it’s coming soon to the US market. Currently, Beretta’s website lists an MSRP starting at $1,599.
