Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand Part 3 Ch. 4: Anti-Life

I read various excerpts from this powerful chapter which encapsulates the banality of evil, and alludes to the divine nature of self-interest; the author's own bias [intention] being more towards that of a worldview of "rational egoism" which is essentially to act exclusively in self-interest in every action one takes; a key implication being that this is the norm among people.
She also touches on Demoralization. It is the first and most important part of the warfare tactic of Subversion which was first recorded and studied by ancient Chinese philosopher Sun Tzu, who authored "The Art of War". Of particular interest ever since Yuri Bezmenov -former KGB spy- pointed out that this was the primary method of attack by the Soviet Union in his time and warned of the continued use of the ancient tactic, stating, "Unlike myself, you'll have nowhere to defect to!" Both Yuri Bezmenov and Ayn Rand were citizens of The Soviet Union.Show more
