The NeoGeo Mini was released in 2018 with a Super NES-style controller with a joystick instead of a D-Pad. In July of 2023, 8Bitdo released a controller to take the place of the relatively substandard controller that was included with the Mini console.

8Bitdo NEOGEO Wireless Controller officially works with Windows, Android, and NEOGEO mini with Classic Click-Style Joystick, and is Officially Licensed by SNK. It is a perfect recreation of the original SNK NEOGEO controller. For the first time. 8bitdo spent 3 years redesigning in house from the ground up. The controller featuring the iconic classic click-style joystick, Bluetooth, 2.4G, and wired. The controller is compatible with Windows, Android, and NEOGEO mini.
