A lonely poplar with a cascade of springs is a natural monument of Kalmykia

According to one assumption, the tree was planted in the XIX century by a Buddhist monk, according to another - by a local forester who had his own farm in the Har Buluk gully.

This poplar is listed in the National Register of Old-Growth Trees and is part of a specially protected area. It refers to the objects of worship of followers of Buddhism.
