In the second half of the 19th century, the conquest of the Caucasus ended. Immigrants from the Russian Empire settled here, who named their settlement Romanovsky. According to legend, in 1878, Greek settlers appeared in these places, who were impressed by the area in bright autumn shades near Romanovskaya. This is how the name Krasnaya Polyana appeared, then the village of Romanovka was renamed in a similar way.
