“REMAIN A SOLDIER FOR GOD,” PASTOR EVELYN JOSHUA URGES THE PEOPLE
Before starting the ministration of prayer, Pastor Evelyn Joshua spared a few minutes to talk about the issue of unbelief and the need to “cultivate an atmosphere of faith.” She referred to a message by Prophet TB Joshua titled “AN ATMOSPHERE OF UNBELIEF”. Reading from Mark 6:1-6, the woman of God noted that an atmosphere of unbelief makes it difficult for God’s power to manifest in a person’s life, as Jesus Christ experienced with people in His hometown. “They rejected their own because of lack of knowledge,” said the Woman of God. Regarding the name-calling of God’s servant Prophet TB Joshua by some, she said, quoting the Man of God, “As long as we continue to dishonour our own, we will remain a consumer nation.” She went on, “Faith makes the impossible, possible; faith will make you see what the God Almighty is looking at.” She therefore encouraged the people to avoid the trap of doubting their faith as they aim for the goal of becoming like Christ Jesus. In her words: “Remain a soldier for God, for Christ Jesus. Stand at your post; do not lose focus. Christ is with you; He is the God of yesterday, today and forever. Just come to Him and you will be blessed beyond measure. God bless you all.”
