She warned the officials with the City of Saskatoon about the health hazards the policy would present to those with bronchial or hearing issues, and how it could damage children’s capacity to learn and relate – yet without success. She was able to get a mask exemption letter from her doctor, she found herself repeatedly mistreated, particularly on public transit and in healthcare settings. So she began to avoid the wider world as much as possible.
