Jack Paar Show - Aug. 17, 1947 - Jack Benny

Today marks the passing of Jack Paar, on Jan. 27, 2004. He had a radio show in 1947 to replace his friend Jack Benny in the summer that year. Later on in tv, he replaced Steve Allen on the Tonight Show in 1957. He was on that show for about five years. He was having problems with NBC and walked away from The Tonight Show in 1962. Then Johnny Carson took over for the next thirty years. Here is the Jack Paar Show with his special guest, Jack Benny. Broadcasted on Aug. 17, 1947. Enjoy the two Jacks.
