Shepherd’s pie is a family favorite! It’s one of those heartwarming foods that hits the spot.

Instructions
1. Cook your meat of choice. Ground or shredded beef or pulled pork are great options!
2. Cook some veggies. We used onions, carrots, celery, and green beans. Peas are often used, but they’re not a favorite in our house.
3. Combine the meat and veggies.
4. Make a gravy and cover your meat and veggies.
5. Spread out the meat and veggies in the bottom of a 9 x 13” pan.
6. Make some mashed potatoes and spread on the top of the meat and veggies.
7. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.
8. Top with cheddar cheese and bake for another 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted.
9. Allow to sit for about 10 minutes before serving.
