Dune: Part Two early ticket sales went live and have so far crashed AMC’s website. This is a good indicator the follow-up to 2021’s Dune will be a huge money maker.

The first movie in the franchise was not much of a success, only grossing $41 million domestically during its opening weekend. In total it made $391 million worldwide during its theatrical run on a budget of around $165 million. However, 2021’s Dune has since gotten more attention through streaming services and more hype has been built up for the Dune: Part Two which had its release date delayed due to the Hollywood strikes in 2023.
