Repeated burned-out relays in your Acorn 180 or 130 stairlift?

Is your wallet suffering from repeated burned-out relays in your Acorn stairlift?   This is obviously a common problem, since it is the first fatal error code in the fatal errors list.   Yes, this is the F1 Acorn starlift error code.   If you paid out of pocket, and live in the suburbs, and out in a country village, a repair visit could be $900 each time you get an F1 error code.

But rather than have repeated problems, your alternative is prevention.

I have the preventive information you need.  No, this is not free.  Might cost you $100 to discuss this.  There is no single prevention method for every model Acorn stairlift.  I have repaired six versions of the Acorn 180 curved stairlifts.   I have repaired five versions of the Acorn 120 and 130 straight stairlifts.  If you need my  help, my mobile phone number is in this video.

By the way, if you are relying on the Facebook users group, see what one Acorn company engineer posted on Facebook.  No,  I am not an Acorn employee, but I agree with that Acorn engineer's opinion.

Have the best day ever.   This is Rob's Repairs.   I also fix and program stairlifts remotely by Zoom, by long distance phone calls, or even by text messages.   Check out my over 50 repair diary video clips online.   See what my clients say.
