Tangled Oaks : EPIC Shade Garden

As a landscape designer I've met plenty of homeowners who struggle with understanding how to properly landscape in the shade.

The trees are beautiful but they can make gardening a challenge if you're not familiar with how to tackle the shade they bring..

In this video you can see a similar challenge where we helped a client turn their shady mess into a lush, vibrant, oasis that's easy on the eyes and low maintenance.

It's all about using the right plants in the right place.

I love these epic transformations and working in the understory of the beautiful live oak canopy. Shade gardens are always my favorite environments to be creative.

I think many people would be surprised to learn about all of what's possible in some of the areas many people have given up considering due to the lack of sunlight.
