KERNEN: “Oh, I could — and just look at YouTube.”
GRANHOLM: “We all do.”

GRANHOLM: “That there’ll be a managed transition, that fossil fuels are not going away in the immediate. That is why the focus — the — the U.S. has been such a leader in making sure that —“ [crosstalk]
KERNEN: “What’s your — how long do you think, Madam Secretary? Do you think — I mean, just give me an outside. Do you think it’s 50 years, or do you think it’s 5 years? Because if you’re pausing now, it assumes that we’re going to be able to transition in like 5 or 10 years. There are people that say it’s going to be at least 50 years for the global economy to be able to operate. It can’t operate without fossil fuels. You can’t get fossil fuels without infrastructure.”
GRANHOLM: “I am — we are working every day at the Department of Energy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.”
