An injured hawk is receiving care after being rescued by an officer in Sharonville this week.

The rescue was captured on the officer's body camera.

The Sharonville Police Department posted to its Facebook page, saying it started on Wednesday when they received a call about an injured hawk in the area of US 42 and Park 42 Drive.

Police stated that two officers, Sgt. Broenner and Officer Risk, responded and worked to rescue the injured bird.

"As you can see from this video, they flawlessly captured the bird and called a local predatory bird rescue to respond and take possession of it," the police department said.
