Erevna Den - Episode Four : Manufactured Annointing

Oil is mentioned over 200 times in the Bible. Often, it consists of a mixture of various ingredients. Particular oils were used for specific purposes. One purpose of oil was for anointing. This episode, Manufactured Annointing, delves into what exactly is the process of this particular oil and its use.
The word ‘annointed’ is an archaic spelling of ‘anointed’. To anoint means to apply oil or other sacred substances to a person or object, often as a religious rite. In the Bible, kings, priests, and prophets were anointed as a sign of their appointment by God. However, though the Bible speaks of anointing oil specifically, thirty-some times, very little is said about the means of production and how it is in connection to those within the Body of Christ, as His Bride.
