The oil refinery in the Russian city of Tuapse has become the latest target of the Security Service of Ukraine. A powerful fire broke out there.
According to the sources of the RBC-Ukraine, drones of the Security Service attacked this important facility. After two powerful explosions on the night of January 25, a massive fire broke out.
The sources note the primary processing unit for oil products was damaged, specifically the vacuum and atmospheric columns.
"The Security Service of Ukraine strikes deep into the Russian Federation and continues attacks on objects that not only have significant importance for the Russian economy but also supply fuel to enemy forces. There will be many more surprises, systematic work is ongoing," the source reports.
Recalla on January 25 a fire broke out at an oil depot in the Russian city of Tuapse in the Krasnodar Krai, engulfing an area of about 200 square meters.
Russian media reported that the oil refinery was attacked by drones.
On the night of January 21, a powerful fire broke out in the Leningrad region, specifically in the port of the town of Ust-Luga. According to sources of RBC-Ukraine, it was an operation by the Security Service of Ukraine.
Drones of the Security Service of Ukraine accurately hit the target, after which the fire spread to the Ust-Luga Oil terminal. They process fuel there, including supplies to the Russian military.
Bloomberg reported that after the attacks of Security Service of Ukraine, maritime shipments of crude oil from Russia plummeted to a minimum. As reported, Russia had to redeploy its air defense systems from the front after the attack on the Ust-Luga Oil terminal.
