The Sword of Justice:

When standing before the sword
They swear is a scale
The blindfold is tweaked
So that Justice can peek

When sitting before the mob
They condense to twelve
The rhetoric of prosecution
Fortifies a foregone conclusion

When kneeling before the judge
They insist is impartial
The gavel resounds
As the sentence compounds

The presumption of innocence
Is the foundation of law
If the state overreaches
The country will fall.
