Essence and root of most world social problems, hierarchy

A brief view of the main fundamental root cause of most the world's social problems (beyond ignorance in general), is hierarchical power structures, such as money, politics, religion. Any structures in which a few can amass power and control over others is susceptible to "corruption", or not doing what is best for the whole of society.
