American Arms CX-22 Semi-Auto 22LR pistol comprehensive review. The CX-22 is a 1990’s German designed, American-built by American Arms of North Kansas City, Missouri, 22LR semi-auto licensed pistol clone of the Walther PPK. It is also a close copy of the ERMA EP522 which is a clone of the Walther TPH. A close-up view of this CX-22 reveals that it has a good fit and finish, it’s been constructed very well, it feels good in the hand, has good balance, points naturally, has good sites, and it’s reliable and accurate.
