After Attacking A Police Officer Woman Gets Tased

At Summit Middle School, a 31-year-old woman, Nicole Sanders, arrived with the intention of taking a family member/student out of class. The school, upon verifying Sanders' identity, called the student to the office. The student appeared uneasy about leaving with Sanders. Following a request for Sanders to leave, the student's mother was contacted, who instructed the school not to allow her child to leave with Sanders. Sanders subsequently attempted to enter the school through a different door but was intercepted by a secretary.

This led to an altercation where Sanders assaulted the secretary. A school resource officer intervened but was also attacked by Sanders. The officer resorted to using a taser to subdue her. During the incident, Sanders made several threatening claims, including having planted explosives in the school. The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office Bomb Squad conducted a search of the school and found no explosives. Sanders was then taken to a hospital for evaluation. She faces numerous charges, including Assault and Battery, Assault and Battery on an Officer, Disturbing the Peace, and Threatening an Act of Violence.
