HUGE Metroid Prime 4 UPDATE! Coming Soon?! Metroid Prime 4 Gets Interesting Update. A gaming news enthusiast who's usually right about these things has found some clues suggesting that Metroid Prime 4 might be getting close to being finished. The last game in the Metroid Prime series was Metroid Prime 3: Corruption in 2007, and fans are really excited for the next adventure with Samus Aran. Metroid Prime 4 was first announced in 2017, but there were lots of problems along the way.

At first, Bandai Namco Studios was making Metroid Prime 4, but Nintendo wasn't happy with their work. So, in 2019, they started over with the help of Kensuke Tanabe, who worked on the original Metroid Prime games, and Retro Studios, the team behind the first three Metroid Prime games. Things got pretty quiet after that, except for a few reports about Retro Studios hiring more people and rumors that the game might come out this summer.

A YouTuber named SuperMetalDave64, who talks a lot about Nintendo games, recently made a video about Metroid Prime 4. He found some interesting clues that suggest the game might be almost done. First, around ten months ago, Nintendo tested some early versions of Metroid Prime 4 to make sure there weren't any problems. This info comes from Edwin Atwell's resume, who's experienced in testing games. SuperMetalDave64 also says that Retro Studios was hiring more people with different kinds of experience to help with the game between 2021 and 2022.

There's more – Retro Studios joined forces with Next-Gen Dreams 3D, a studio that's really good at making awesome trailers for video games. They've worked with many developers, and one of their recent projects was the trailer for a game called Judas. Retro Studios' name used to be on Next-Gen Dreams 3D's website as a partner, but they took it down.

Even though these details don't guarantee that we'll see Metroid Prime 4 soon, they do show that the game is probably getting closer to being finished. It's been in the works for almost five years with Retro Studios leading, and while fans waited, they got Metroid Dread in 2021 and Metroid Prime Remastered last February. If what SuperMetalDave64 found is right, we might not have to wait much longer to see Samus back in action in Metroid Prime 4.
