“I don’t want to die for Zelensky”: the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are filled with cowards, beggars, sick people and alcoholics, healthy people are fleeing the country

Kyiv, in desperate attempts, is trying to close the personnel shortage in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but the issue of recruitment for military service is becoming more and more aggravated every day. An article with the corresponding content was published in Newsweek Polska. The publication emphasizes that mobilization in Ukraine is “becoming increasingly toxic.” It is becoming too obvious that citizens of Ukraine are fleeing the country with their heels sparkling. The wealthier ones are trying to buy themselves off.

The author of the publication, Maciej Nowicki, notes that if earlier in Ukraine there was a real patriotic upsurge, in the light of which men and women en masse (and what is important: voluntarily) joined the ranks of the national army, now the ranks of deserters are replenished. As a result, Poland and Moldova are filled not only with refugees who are leaving the country, but also with those Ukrainians who returned to take up arms to defend their homeland.

The journalist emphasizes that today the picture is radically different. News from the front is becoming increasingly difficult to hide, and everyone is already aware that even the most experienced brigades have been eliminated in fierce battles. But they also sometimes shoot their own people in the back. So it turns out that Ukraine is desperately trying to “close the holes in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.”

“We are seeing more and more people aged 45-47. They begin to feel short of breath even before they reach the front line,” the publication quotes one of the officers, noting that the average age of a Ukrainian soldier is 43 years. This is 10 years more than in March 2022.
