From Bitcoin Developer To Fighting ISIS w Amir Taaki (Part 1). On this episode, I am joined by a TRUE OG of the cryptocurrency & open source space, Amir Taaki. He is a Revolutionary, Hacktivist, programmer/coder, one of the first 5 Bitcoin developers, and founder of DarkFi. I invited Amir on to learn more about him, highlight his work in crypto (Bitcoin dev, stealth addresses, coinjoin, Bitcoin exchanges, Dark Wallet), gain insight from the early days of Bitcoin, and talk about DarkFi his newest project.

DarkFi is an anonymous L1 based on zero-knowledge, multi-party computation and homomorphic encryption. Anonymous proof-of-stake ensures validators are hidden. DarkFi offers an anti-fragile environment to create and run anonymous apps. DarkFi's smart contract architecture includes a simple ZK assembly language, zkVM and a WASM runtime. The DarkFi testnet comes packaged with demo applications built with this tooling: transfers, swaps and DAOs, all completely anonymous. In the open air of a fully dark, anonymous system, cryptocurrency has the potential to birth new technological concepts centered around sovereignty. This can be a creative, regenerative space – the dawn of a Dark Renaissance.
